If there're two things that'll make just about any self-respecting gearhead weak at the knees, I'm prepared to bet those are vintage muscle cars and carbon fiber body kits. Now, the gifted auto artists over at SpeedKore just so happen to be ticking both boxes. In our day and age, it goes without saying this Wisconsin-based enterprise hosts some serious talent below its roof, and the crew's utter commitment is certainly reflected in their flawless masterpieces.

As time went by, SpeedKore's spectacular feats captured the attention of several celebrities that went on to contact the manufacturer, with the intent of submitting their very own personalized requests. Sure enough, the company's magnificent works of four-wheeled art never ceased to amaze the automotive realm, thanks to the sheer level of meticulous craftmanship that's gone into each and every build.

Over the years, we've featured a few of their most notable exploits on autoevolution, including a wicked Dodge Demon that eats drag strip tarmac for breakfast and a monstrous Charger with no less than 1,525 untamed ponies on tap, to name a couple. I'll tell you what; instead of me just babbling on about the firm's outstanding ventures, let's dive in for a thorough examination of yet another remarkable project, shall we?

Believe me when I say: the creature we'll be looking at today might just be the neatest 1970 Dodge Charger replica that you'll ever come across! Before we go into any details about this sinister piece of machinery, we'll be taking a minute to remind ourselves of the original car's main specs and features. In this fashion, you'll get a fairly clear idea as to why SpeedKore decided to name this ominous entity 'Evolution'.

For the sake of simplicity, we'll stick to a single trim in the Charger R/T family. The variant in question is brought to life by a malicious 7.2-liter V8 colossus that'll happily summon up to 375 hp at approximately 4,600 rpm. On the other hand, the mill is perfectly capable of delivering as much as 480 pound-feet (651 Nm) of fiendish twisting force at 3,200 revs.

A three-speed automatic gearbox hands the engine's vicious power over to a rear-wheel-drive, leading to a respectable top speed of 142 mph (228 kph). Additionally, this nasty animal will accelerate 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in no more than 6.9 seconds. Long story short, the Charger was a force to be reckoned with during the pony car wars!

Now, that's all fine and dandy, but SpeedKore's Evolution is an entirely different level of mechanical muscle. It is put in motion by a Challenger SRT Demon's unholy 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 that feeds its ferocious oomph to the rear wheels via a six-speed Tremec M6 6060 transmission. At optimal revs, the V8 behemoth will gladly generate up to 966 feral ponies, which is simply staggering, if you ask me.

The whole structure is held in place by a custom frame that's been painstakingly crafted in-house. It is supported by a set of Penske 7500 Series coilover shocks that'll handle suspension duties with ease. SK's Evolution crawls on a pair of 19-inch HRE wheels at the front, coupled with 20-inch counterparts on the opposite end. These modules are hugged tightly by Pilot Sport 2 rubber from Michelin's catalogue.

Furthermore, a fourteen-point roll cage will have you covered when it's time to hit the track, while that full (and I mean full) carbon fiber body guarantees to leave you truly lost for words. Seriously, everything you see has been fabricated using lightweight carbon goodness; from the roof, hood and front fenders, to its deck lid and rear bumper.

If you're thinking Evolution would look right at home in your driveway, then I do hope you've been saving up, as SpeedKore's mean machine will cost you over 400,000 bucks. Nonetheless, that eye-watering price tag begins to sound rather reasonable when you take all those top-shelf characteristics into consideration.
